The pictures attached to this update are of the “Raider Mobile” getting dropped off to the suspension and drivetrain shop for that portion of the restoration. This is where they are pulling the engine and transmission, and evaluating the remainder of the suspension and drivetrain for the restoration process. This was the “Raider Mobile’s” first trip out the gates of MCAS Miramar in over a decade! The car is also getting ready to have the rolling chassis delivered to the body shop to begin the repair to the roof and start the restoration process on it as well after they are complete with the drivetrain removal. This will be part of our next update.Thank you to those of you who have already donated, and please continue to share the project with others who might be interested in donating as well. I look forward to posting more updates soon. Also Check out Page 6 of the Western Region LOCOC CONFAB Newsletter released on March 11, 2016. The “Raider Mobile” has gone public and I am excited to share this project with all the readers from the Western Region of the Lincoln Continental owners Club (LCOC). Thank you for taking the time to take a look.
