As stated in the history I have continued to work on this projects history with the squadron and documenting and contacting friends and fellow Marines both past and present to create what we have thus far. Concurrently the squadron requested a legal and ethical review of this project and how public and government opinion would interpret the restoration of a vehicle that had only a historical value and not financial or legal binding to the command. The pictures in this update were taken in November 2015 when I was preparing the car to be sent to the first venue to begin the restoration process. The squadrons legal review was completed in late December 2015 and the official release of this project was on February 1, 2016.
